I have managed it on my 1984 Sadler 29, using one of the spare twin cables laid in.
I unthreaded it from the rest and eased it between the inner lining and the hull until it was in line with the verticle rear or the coach roof.
Pulling each of the three spares behind the instrument panel in turn until I found the one that had some effect on the hanging tail.
The cables had been secured by tape and gunge somewhere behind the inner lining but by working the cable gently back and forth from both ends it enentually came free and was used as a 'tail' for the wind speed indicator cable.
Alternatively you may be able to use a roller steel tape measure as a 'mouse' pushing it down from the top until it's end pops out samewhere between the coach roof and hull. Or attach a magnetic safety pin to some whipping twine and 'pull' it along with a powerfull magnet.
This latter trick has worked for me several times,
You can hear the pin scratching along behind the GRP. I used a ,seasearcher magnet,
Remember to lay in a spare whiping twine with the new cable just in case there is a next time!
Good luck.
