If you send me details by email of your boat, I can narrow down its age to within a year or two. As far as the cool box is concerned, it is possible to put additional insulation round the outside and this has been carried out by a number of owners. Hopefully, somebody will give you a few tips on the forum. You can buy foam in canister form and by packing around the limits of where you want it to go, it is possible to introduce this additional insulation.
