The addition of a primary filter in the fuel line between the tank and engine fuel pump is always a good idea, as it has the capability to separate and remove water from the fuel, in addition to taking out larger solid contaminants. If you buy one with a glass bowl it enables you to see how much water has been removed prior to draining it down. I bought mine at a boat show several years ago and I don't remember its maker. Vetus and CAV make standard models for yachts and good chandlers stock them. You could also try T. Norris, advertisements in PBO and YM, they hold a large range of engine spares and ancillaries and provide a good mail order service.
