Thanks Vyv. There's a high shelf into the engine bilge on the 29 too, probably 6 inches high, so together with the shallow bilges under the cabin sole, she'd probably hold at least half a ton of water before it flowed over into the engine bilge. Bit worrying, eh?
Would appreciate a comment from Mike, maybe he can recall what was done during production?
I know the best bailer is a frightened man with a bucket, but a pump would be easier....
