Broker Notes
We are privileged to be dealing with Blue Bat, whose current owners have lavished much care and affection (and money!) to bringing this well equipped Sadler 32 up to a very high standard.
Originally built for a Director of Sadler, who specified many interior enhancements to the original boat, all of which have been exceptionally well maintained.

Blue Bat is now reduced in price because owners have ceased sailing for health and age reasons.
We believe this represents a unique opportunity to purchase an unusually well set-up and equipped Sadler 32.
We are confident that this Sadler represents splendid value and is in good operational condition - call Mike for more detail.

 Owner Notes
We are very sad indeed to be selling Blue Bat but a replacement half shoulder, for one of us, and rotator cuff injuries for the other, plus anno domini necessitate this.  Blue Bat is a wonderful sailing boat and has just done the journey from the River Vilaine, S. Brittany to Exmouth in 2 days 16 hours. She is a dry boat, points really high to windward (to the envy of  others) lifts her stern beautifully in a following sea, so that you scarcely notice the waves pass under you, and really looks after you. Down below she is spacious with plenty of headroom, comfortable and cosy with thermal curtains keeping out the heat in summer and the cold in winter. The spray hood was new when we bought her but we have replaced running rigging, standing rigging, mast, boom, sails, stack pack and have added a Furuno radar, a chart plotter, DSC radio and much else.  The radar display can be moved to the cockpit so, if caught out in fog, it is possible to view it without having to go below. The fully battened Peter Saunders mainsail is hoisted on a Tidesway marine track and is fitted with Rutgerson sliders for ease of hoisting and dropping back into the stack pack. It is also possible to sail her on just her 130% genoa and this can be a real boon if the weather suddenly takes a turn for the worst. She will heave to. She has two spinnakers and spinnaker pole and she also sports a cruising chute emblazoned with a bat (with red eyes!) and there is a whisker pole. A Gale Sail (Sea Teach) and a Sea Brake (Sea Teach) plus mooring lines and a Spade anchor bought 2 years ago are included in the inventory. Her engine is a regularly serviced, powerful Yanmar 3GM30 which is approaching 1700 hours and has many more hours of life left. We have had 10 fantastic years sailing the Solent and cruising the West Country, the Channel Islands, Northern France and Southern Brittany where she has been much admired for her pedigree and good looks and we hope that her next owner enjoys her as much as we have.
